When I was young, my step dad lived on the North Shore of Oahu. We would go live with him over the summers there and I fell in love with a local swimsuit shop near our house! It was run by a couple of older ladies who gave you a book of fabrics, your choice of swimsuit, and then you would come back later to pick up a custom suit!

Fast forward to 2020 when I received my very first sewing machine for my 21st birthday! I didn't know how to sew (even though my mum sewed all her life) but I decided I wanted to create a custom swimsuit business on the side of being a middle or high school band director. In the span of 3 years I taught myself how to sew, graduated ECU with a Bachelor's in Music Ed, had sold over 100 swimsuits, became a high school band director, married my best friend, and moved from the OBX to Greenville, NC.

I am so thankful for all the doors God has opened for me! Now I am making swimsuits full time, my mum sews the accessories and clothing, and my sweet husband helps me cut out patterns! I can't wait to see what the future holds for my small business!
